The OSU Solar Decathlon Team departed over weekend for Washington, D.C. to compete against 20 other universities in the national Solar Decathlon competition.
To offer support for the team, students, faculty, and staff to attended Friday’s (9/25) 2pm “solar sendoff” at 1960 Tuttle Park Place (the Decathlon build site). President Gee, Greg Washington, Ann-Pendleton-Jullian, and Decathlon team members all spoke at the event.
The competition will take place October 9-18 on the National Mall. This is the first year that Ohio State students have designed and built a solar house for the contest.
