Join us for a discussion on ecological and health impacts of our nation’s highly mechanized food industry and its increasing dependence upon inputs such as synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
Our discussion will serve as a reflection upon some of the central themes of the documentary Food, Inc. Furthermore, we will explore solutions and focus on ways these broad environmental issues impact the health and well-being of students at Ohio State.
COFFEE & SNACKS PROVIDED
Green Beans | Ecology & Coffee is our monthly discussion series, established in February 2008. We invite speakers from across central Ohio to engage students in a dialog on issues related to energy, the environment, and public health.
